![]() Synatra Everywhere, New Jersey www.myspace.com/synatra1 Interview With: Synatra Written By: The Realist from GreenlandLive.net Synatra is a solo rap artist that combines the best of both worlds; meaning he can take it from the hood to Hollywood and back again. A lot of hip hop artists are limited to certain subject matters. With Synatra, he can touch on many different emotions in his music, his lyrics paint the best possible picture to reflect life. He has been making music seriously for about 5 years....but he has loved it & lived it his whole life. The meaning of the moniker Synatra is how easily he can go from the gutter to the stars and still be the same person he is regardless of the environment; Synatra is a versatile human being. Obviously the name is inspired by Frank Sinatra, and his name rang bells with the G's and the Hollywood scene. 'Thats been me my whole life, I am cool as hell.' Synatra is influenced by life, 'The shit that happens everyday....the sounds outside my door. Other than that, good music inspires me....that spans from Myles Davis, to Hall & Oats, to Teddy Pendergrass to Nas u digg? Good music that tells the truth.' Synatra believes his audience is eclectic....open minded forward thinking individuals who value creativity and honesty; 'Music has no boundaries, hip hop takes from every genre and makes something completely new. A Synatra fan might be a 20 year old college kid, a 35 year old thug, or a 40 year old school dude. I try not to exclude anyone.' Synatra wants to change the current perception of what hip hop is, 'On the commercial side it's mad hollow and stupid! How can you take a whole culture's struggle and sum it up talkin about how fly, or how much money you got in your pocket? My intent is to make music that defies the box 'they' and try to put rap into it.' Feelings and Real Life drives the music Synatra creates. The way the tracks pops, beats bang, with lyrics on top of it all just does something for his creativity. But his ambition to succeed may be what drives him the most, 'I'm scared to fail, it makes me sacrifice so i can make the best material I'm capable of. I want to be recognized as one of the best to ever do it.' Synatra is currently in the process of recording his EP, 'Jersey Tale.' It's a 7 song EP that details his life from his childhood - to where he is now. It gives his fans and the world an accurate picture of the way he has been living. With many more defining moments to come in his brilliant music career Synatra reminisces on one moment in particular when he was approached by Riggs Morales about his music, 'Riggs Morales from Shady Records told me that he hasn't seen a swagger like mine in a long time. That's a big look.' Bulletproof love to Greenland Live, Thanks for the opportunity. SMG the Fuck up, Jersey STAND UP! SUPPORT GOOD MUSIC!
