GreenlandLive.net asks: Describe your artist/band/duo/group. How did you come together?

Ross: Life In Electric was formed by Ace and myself in the Summer of '07. I had met Ace at a show that my previous band was playing. We were both in other bands at the time, but once we met things just clicked. I sent him a song I had been working on (which is now known as 'You Crash', our first single) and within a few days he had sent it back to me with vocals on it. We both knew right then that we had found something special and that it was something that was well worth pursuing. So we both quit our other bands and started writing and recording. In the first 2 weeks we had a 4 song demo done and had the band put together.

GreenlandLive.net asks: How did you come to be known as Life In Electric?

Ross: We had some songs writen, we even had members for the band but no name yet. We spent a few weeks brainstorming names but couldn't settle on any one thing, until one evening I texted Ace 'Life In Electric'. It just fit so we rolled with it. Plus it has a great acronym! L.I.E.

GreenlandLive.net asks: Who and what are your influences?

Ross: I'd have to say that we are greatly more influenced by what then who. But nothing against who. I like them too.

GreenlandLive.net asks: How would you describe your audience?

Ross: Uber rad people who know good music! :)

GreenlandLive.net asks: What are your goals as a group?

Ross: To write music that is innovate and captivating. To constantly push ourselves and try new ideas and directions. To writeOUR 'White Album'.

GreenlandLive.net asks: What drives your music?

Ross: Honda Civics! Everyone in the band owns a Honda Civic, well except Ace, his is an Accord but close enough.


GreenlandLive.net asks: What message/s are you delivering to the world?

Well we haven't been hand delivering messages that much these days. Sort of more into this text messaging thing now.


GreenlandLive.net asks:  What does your latest album portray?

Ross: Not a single thing! And thats because we haven't released and album as of yet. However, we are currently working on one. Once wehave it out, I'll let you know.


GreenlandLive.net asks:  What roles do each member of the band act out/play?

Ross: Well........ Ryan likes to dress up in school girl drag from time to time...
