GreenlandLive.net: Describe your band. How did you come together?

RA Scion: I'm often confused by the industry terminology; if 'band' implies live instrumentation, excessive in-fighting, gluttonous consumption of drugs and alcohol, uniforms and/or summer camps then i think we're more of a 'group.' or a 'duo.' yeah, we're a 'rap duo.' we came together in -------- wait -- hold up, i don't like the way that sounds. never mind that - next question.

GreenlandLive.net: How did you come to be known as Common Market?

RA Scion: Professor Flugel Booty? it has alot to do with the crohn's disease.

GreenlandLive.net: What are your goals as a group?

RA Scion: we're trying to leave an indelible mark on seattle's fabled indy-music scene. knowing that such an accomplishment will undoubtedly require the invention of a new dance step, i'll be enrolling at arthur murray in the fall quarter.

GreenlandLive.net: What drives your music?

RA Scion: Currently, a '96 toyota camry XLE, but i'm hoping to upgrade once the album drops.

GreenlandLive.net: What does your latest album portray?

GreenlandLive.net: What roles do each member of the band act out/play?

RA Scion: in the World of Greyhawk, i'm Bigby and saba is Gord the Rogue. or if we're talking about Ravenloft, then i'm Rudolph van Richten and saba's Lord Soth.

GreenlandLive.net: Describe a defining moment for your band.

RA Scion: 12:00 pm, april 15th, 2008: a power line falls in horseshoe bay, blocking the only road to whistler, BC for nearly 3 hours. we show up late, hella rock the show, collect the cash and get back home around midnight. there are dozens of those moments, and i think they define us to the letter.
